Passengers Unite! 2018
2019 A station in need of help
The Hollis LIRR station has been in dire condition, and D'souza petitioned the NYC comptroller to audit the station. Ultimately, a letter was written by the comptroller, calling on the MTA to fix the station. More riders joined in the petition and, at the end of 2023, the MTA approved a plan to finally make the necessary renovations there to improve safety and the passenger experience.
